We wish everyone an inspiring International Women’s Day. Today is also a significant day for adhunika as we turn six this year. In 2002 few of us took baby-steps on-line, and formed adhunika, and six years later that number has grown into hundreds. We would like to thank every volunteers, friends and well-wishers for your continuous support.
On this special occasion we like to know if today means anything special for you as a woman.

Yes, today is a very special day for me, as my second baby was born on this day a month ago, thus making me a mother of two very special kids!

As we celebrate International Women’s Day, I would like to take a pause and especially acknowledge the one woman who has shaped and impacted me - my mother - who has never worked outside the home but instilled in me the importance of education (regrets to this day that I did not pursue a Ph.D.), work/home balance, ingrained strong values that continue to guide me, taught me to be strong and weather the curve balls life throws, and instilled in me a whole lot of confidence which enables me to fly free and high so thank you, Ma, for being my anchor.
PS..Heartiest congratulations to Adhunika, may you continue to inspire!
